SA Church, Liverpool
Braithwaite Group were appointed by St Anne’s Church, Liverpool to carry out the extensive refurbishment of the existing Church built in 1837.
During the project, extensive changes were made from the initial brief which resulted in Braithwaite Group working closely with the heritage architect to deliver this project.
Whilst working on site, Braithwaite Group re-priced the new design and delivered the project with only a 3 week extension on the initial 10 week programme which was carried out during COVID-19 pandemic.
The works carried out were the following:
- Full strip out to exposed original features
- Full demolition of existing Nave area
- Installation of new footings and concrete floor to whole church
- Installation of structural steel to create openings
- Installation of new raised floor
- Manufacturer and installation of new timber rails and carpet
- Installation of store rooms and kitchen
- Installation of new roller shutter
- Manufacture and installation of bespoke joinery
- Installation of new metal work features
- Installation of new man hole and drainage runs throughout the church
- New mechanical air cooling system installed
- New electrics throughout
- New decoration throughout
- New timber floor
- New tiling to floors
- New entrance matting
- New doors
- Alterations to all windows
- New Tarmac to front car park
